About this place
Why visit
Natural bridges and deep depressions explain how water and rock shape a landscape over long periods. Looking upward from the path gives a different sense of scale from a viewpoint above. Wulong contains several visitor areas, and the natural bridges should not be confused with every attraction carrying the Wulong name.
Details worth noticing
- Stone arches overhead
- Cliffs around the walking paths
- Vegetation within the karst
Before you go
Plan your visit
Choose the Natural Three Bridges or another named Wulong attraction, with the correct transfer points. Wulong’s scenic sites are spread out. Do not assume the road journey leaves time for every gorge, cave and mountain area.
Identify the specific attraction, transfer point and walking conditions. Build the day around the out-of-city journey and check current entry and return arrangements.
Nearby visits and onward travel
Other Wulong scenic areas need separate entry and travel planning. Central Chongqing’s attractions should not crowd an already substantial excursion.
Getting there & around Chongqing ↗A flexible day idea
A suggested day
Use this day plan as a guide. We can adjust the walking, transport and breaks for your group.
- Start
Travel and orient
Reach the correct scenic-area reception or entrance for the booked route. Check the actual walking direction and return transfer rather than treating the whole area as one simple loop.
- Explore
Under the bridges
Follow the designated route through the Natural Three Bridges if that is your chosen attraction. Pause below the arches to appreciate the scale, and keep time for steps and rest.
- Finish
Return or stay locally
Complete the exit transfers and have a meal. Return to Chongqing with enough time, or stay overnight to give another Wulong landscape its own day.
